I have been thinking a lot about the following ideas:
The intradiegetic narrator, and specifically the three elements of: Cécile-narrator, Cécile-character, Cécile-character commenting on Cécile-character. I like this three step into her mind. It starts with Cécile-narrator, in the present, recalling a moment from the past where Cécile-character takes over. Cécile-character tells it and now we've been transported to the past, which becomes the present as Cécile-character reflects and changes her own behaviour at the same time.
Using animation to show elements of her body against a real setting, particularly the 1950's/1960's girl comic type of illustration, which gives a contextual feel to it and also suggests that a person was there, but is there no longer. I like this idea of layering and of barely visible, or ghostlike images. Fragments that are brought together by a memory.
Binaural recording, particularly from within the forest, on the floor, hearing the waves, listening to the heartbeat, and listening to this on headphones, on a bus, or waiting somewhere.
