Film Process April 25th

Sound designing the waves and the heartbeats and adding numbers on screen.

After a night away from the film, I came back this morning, and listened to her words again, she's talking about the rhythm of the beats and the waves and how they are the same, so I have edited the waves to fit in with every four beats of the heart. As this is never going to be exactly regular, I have left the waves to run in their normal way outside of her counting, so that it synchronises as if by magic just at that time, and then eases back into an irregular pattern.

I have also put in the subtitles of her counting, but this seems to distract from the graphics and I'm wondering if I can put the numbers on the circles instead. This can then continue, over the rhythm of the waves, to form a synchronicity.

I was looking for a font where all the numbers are similar in size. I like these:

Century Gothic

Athelas

Gurmukhi MT

GeoSansLight

Julius Sans One

I think, I'm going for Julius Sans One. The sweep of the 2 and the openness of the 3 are slightly more artistic than GeoSansLight.
