End of the day. Length and rhythm.

I have completed a first cut. It's about 4 minutes long. There is a natural rhythm to it, which starts and ends with the sound of waves. Visually it begins small, on the sand, coming out to look at the vistas on the beach, and then in again up at the canopies, and then inside her mind. Surreal, abstract visuals with the sound of deep internal underwater. Slowly easing back to reality with the post coital sound of birds singing, different now than before, this time less birdsong and more crickets. Snapped out of it all by Anne calling "Cécile!"

Update June 2nd

I have cut well into the first section, so that the voiceover starts after the second wave. This has meant the total length (including titles and credits) is 3.30minutes.
