I've reached a difficult part of the film. The third section, the most involved, inside her mind section, is too severe, formal and stark. I have started to experiment with trees. Mirroring them, creating kaleidoscopic images which are beautiful and somewhat trippy. Researching this, I have unearthed Harry Smith and his early abstractions which are wonderful.

Doesn't solve my problem though. I am somewhere in the world of wanting to create an internal abstracted sensual film, and have come to a full stop because when watching EYETOON by Jerry Abrams, 1968, I wonder if this is all I'm trying to do? The Joy of Sex? Is it?

And now I have found The Film-Makers' Cooperative and I'm lost in it.

Update
June 2nd
I have had to finish the film for the Dartington conference, and have added a checkerboard effect through Premiere Pro, with a changing colour, and the squares increasingly getting larger, so it has a going down a rabbit hole type of feel. The colours recall French breton tops. I quite like it, but feel I still could go further with it.
